State Mortgage Assistance Resources

The American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (APRA) created the Homeowners Assistance Fund (HAF) to provide funds to homeowners facing a financial hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Although HAF is a federal program, it is being administered through all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and 3 territories. The U.S. Department of the Treasury is responsible for the review and approval of each individual state or territory plan. To apply for HAF assistance, you must apply directly through your state’s application process.
